All in all, superb and anyone who loved the Frankenstein movies will love this. The acting is fine, Claude Rains was a brilliant actor and gives a superb performance in the title role, despite the fact he spends most of the time swathed in bandages or invisible you know that wonderful voice he has anywhere. The story is still compelling and does justice to the book, while the atmosphere is suitably eerie and the special effects are pioneering.
